  Adrian Schmidt: There is debate around the use of recycled water for agricultural and potable use. Questions have been raised as to whether it is safe for human consumption.

To assist in finding the answers, our Organic Chemistry laboratory is investigating methods to detect organic chemicals in water that could be used for recycling, and methods to determine acceptable levels for human consumption.
