Meteorological and air quality systems

Management of meteorological conditions is integral to environmental management and essential for supporting economic, social and environmental objectives.
Our stations can be configured to monitor:
- rainfall
- wind speed and Wind direction (including Sigma Theta)
- air temperature and humidity
- solar radiation
- barometric pressure
- evaporation
- dust and air quality analysers
- noise monitoring
- soil moisture
- lightning detection and warning.
Ecowise systems are for unattended, long term, continuous monitoring of environmental data.
Our systems are of the highest quality and have proven versatility and reliability in the harshest of environments.
All systems include:
- The dataloggers are chosen on number of channels, number of sensors and communication method required.
- Power supplies are selected to suit the location and application. Solar, mains or micro-hydro powered (or a combination) stations can be supplied.
- Mathematical calculations can be programmed into the datalogger to provide continuous information on derived parameters. For example: Penmans evaporation, wind chill and dew point.
- Data recording (logging) rate is programmed to suit the site characteristics and client requirements.
- Systems are virtually endlessly upgradeable and expandable. Sensors can be added to sites and new sites can be added to networks. Simple rainfall monitoring stations can be reconfigured into full weather stations.
