Green Initiatives

Environmental stewardship benefits our earth, and is encouraged within Ecowise. Our Green initiatives help to conserve energy, reduce waste, save money and benefit our employees and community.

Some examples of our Green initiatives are as follows:

• We have installed efficient lighting which is controlled in individual rooms.
• We encourage our employees to print double sided.
• We recycle printer cartridges, with the money saved donated to Landcare.
• We recycle cardboard, plastic, glass bottles and food scraps.
• We provide recycling and security bins for papers.

Additionally, we have installed a water harvesting system at the new Scoresby office.

Environment Business Australia (EBA) Member

Ecowise is a proud member of Environment Business Australia (EBA). EBA is a highly respected not-for-profit peak body representing the environment and sustainability industry.  Ecowise support contributes to raising the awareness of sustainability issues, and championing the solutions to environmental challenges faced by the industry. This is essential work at a time when decisions taken about the environment will affect the future of coming generations as well as the marketplace where we all do business.

Ecowise often assist our clients to exceed their own environmental requirements. Therefore our environmental performance can be measured by the environmental success of our clients. One of our food industry clients was independently assessed as having "world's best practice environmental performance". Our water industry clients are often recognised as leading the push towards environmental sustainability and ecological biodiversity.
